It would seem that Kanye West's collection will really be dropping this Friday all things considered, as the artist has quite recently made Jesus Is King accessible for preorder on vinyl, CD, and computerized download. 

A new release date for Kanye West’s forthcoming album Jesus Is King has reportedly been announced. Various attendees of the Kanye West Experience at the George Washington University Lisner Auditorium claim that ‘Ye himself confirmed the album’s tentative release date of October 25, set to coincide with the premiere of the IMAX movie.

A trailer for the film shows Knight, the photographer, director and founder of ShowStudio, behind the camera with West, filming a gospel choir on location at installation artist James Turrell’s Roden Crater in Arizona, in summer 2019. West has previously expressed a dedication to Turrell’s immersive works, reportedly donating $10 million to the development of the Roden Crater project after visiting it with Turrell in December 2018, and interviewing the artist in another short documentary directed by Nico Ballesteros. He also once said on Twitter that: “We all will live in Turrell spaces.” Turrell also features in the trailer for Jesus is King.

Kanye West fans may be in limbo as they await West’s indefinitely delayed latest album Jesus is King—but they’re no longer in suspense regarding the IMAX experience that accompanies the musical project.
